Good enough for a short hop, but room for improvement

premium lounge was nice!

grabbed the premium lounge access for our Frederikshavn-Oslo trip, and it was pretty decent value. saved a few quid with a DFDS offer code at checkout, glad I remembered to pop it in early. only thing was, drinks service was a bit slow at one point but overall, comfy and worth it.

oslo mini cruise was fine, but a bit pricey

compared to p&o ferries, i thought the oslo mini cruise was pretty decent for a quick getaway. the duty free shopping was actually pretty good, i picked up some stuff for about 20% less than home, so that was a win. my only real gripe is that even with an offer code, i felt like the final price was a bit steep, especially when you factor in all the little extras. it's good, but maybe not a steal.

Great Trip to Oslo

Anyone else booked a caravan ferry with DFDS recently? We booked the Copenhagen-Oslo ferry crossing and it was excellent. The booking process was straightforward, especially since I knew to enter the offer code right at the start. Everything went smoothly at the port too. We just showed our passports, which was all the identification needed. Definitely recommend them for this route.

Compared to P&O, our DFDS experience was pretty smooth. We booked an onboard cabin which was great for the kids to nap, and they loved the play areas. My only slight complaint is remembering to input the offer codes right at the start of booking; it's easy to forget if youre rushing.
